Shortbread Cookies
2/3 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups flour
  1. Cream shortening, gradually adding sugar
  2. Work in flour with hands
  3. Wrap in plastic wrap, chill at least one hour
  4. Roll out dough to 1/2" thickness, cut cookies
  5. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheet
  6. Bake at 350 F for 20 to 25 minutes (these cookies do not brown)
