Shortbread Cookies
2/3 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups flour

Cream shortening, gradually adding sugar

Work in flour with hands

Wrap in plastic wrap, chill at least one hour

Roll out dough to 1/2" thickness, cut cookies

Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheet

Bake at 350 F for 20 to 25 minutes (these cookies do not
brown)
