Butterscotch Brownies
1/4 cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
1 egg
3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)

Melt butter over low heat

Remove butter from heat, mix in sugar, let cool

Stir in egg

Add dry ingredients

Add vanilla and nuts

Spread into a well greased square 8" X 8" X 2" pan

Bake at 350 degrees 25 minutes.

Cut while warm
