Ambrosia Salad

1  3 ounce package orange jello
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup boiling water
1  20 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
1  16 ounce can mandarin oranges, drained
1 cup whipping cream
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
 1/2 cup flaked coconut

 

  1. Combine jello and sugar in small bowl.
  2. Add boiling water, stir until jello is dissolved.
  3. Chill until partially set, about 20 minutes.
  4. Add pineapple and oranges, stir well
  5. Return to refrigerator.
  6. In bowl, whip cream
  7. Fold in sour cream, vanilla, and coconut.
  8. Pour into  9 inch square dish, or mold
  9. Refrigerate
