First off I would like to introduce myself. My real name is Ferret Face, better known as FF. I am a fine hunk of kitty. My coat is soft with the markings of a gray tabby, and I'm no little guy last check fourteen pounds. Some people say I'm spoiled, but I don't think so, I paid for every one my privileges.
Now for a little bit of my life's story. I was born about July '97, to a nice family. When I was 6 weeks old, they gave me to this very nice little girl. But, there was a problem, a rather BIG problem. No asked the little girl's family if she could have me. The family had the world's largest CHOW, who kept thinking that I was to be his next snack. After several weeks, and using several of my nine lives, I was once again given away.
This family was very nice (no dogs), just another guy like me. His name was Sumic. Kind of an old fellow, but nice. After some time I grew into a nice looking teen, than I started feeling ill. My human took me to the doctors office, telling me all the way that dying in her car was not allowed. I was so weak I couldn't even make a sound or lift my head. They doctor, was talking about putting me down, or giving me a couple of days to rally. To tell the truth, I didn't care, the could put me down on the floor, I was too tired to rally about anything. The next thing I remember was waking up, feeling better. From what I understand is that I had been in the Kitty ICU for several days. The next day I got to go home, for weeks my owner had to feed this funny tasting food. With in 3 weeks I was strong enough to walk again. I don't quite understand what "Feline Leukemia" is, but I can tell you I wouldn't even wish it on that CHOW that tried to eat me!
From this time on I was no longer allowed to play with any of the other guys. Sumic had to stay outdoors, that big monster of a cat and his girlfriend that visited for a few months, was locked in one site of the house and me in the other. The best I can understand is that the humans that normally took care of the other two, were unable to. Something to do with being a foster home. Boy was I happy when the left, at least I got the whole house for a while.
As time passed so did Sumic, but the humans brought in plenty of other creatures. Of course they won't let me have any fun with them. Something about me having a snack, or being a snack.
One day I was feeling a little frisky, while climbing the drapes, it all fell down. What a mess! Than I thought I would try to play with that funny looking critter they keep locked up. It was no problem, I just took my nice long sharp claws and ripped open the screen top on his tank. The humans went crazy, screaming, yelling, and tossed me into the bathroom. Back to the doctor, this time all I heard in the car is that I shouldn't try to play with the boa. Went to sleep, this time not feeling better when I woke up, they took my claws. ;-(
I got over it though, and everything was great until February 23, 1998. They got me what they call a play mate named Cotton. They keep telling me to play nice, now I have to share. It could be worse I guess, at least she isn't a dog. She too has Feline Leukemia, and strange looking too. So little, only half my size, her coat is solid white, with half of it missing, lots of wounds too. Her eyes are the color of the sky, and she purrs louder than me.
Well she can have her own page, I not going to share this one. I'm all ready sharing everything else.
Well enough typing for today, time for a well deserved cat nap.
P.S. Look what I got,"My very first award" and just for being me.
